Default Remote kill without BES

Are there any applications out there that will let me do a remote kill without a BES? I know a friend of mine has one for his windows mobile phone, but I haven't seen one for blackberry.

His works by sending a text message to the phone with a specific sequence of letters/numbers and it triggers the erase function.

Thanks

Your best bet is to use a password to protect you Blackberry. If someone finds it and tries to open it, it will delete files after 10 wrong password attempts.
