Hello All, first post here

I know this is ANOTHER pearl related opera post but I got it working after hours of headache.

I found reference on this site about using an alternate APN... (ok just found I can't post a URL until I've done 10 posts - go to google search reqwireless apns its the first that comes up)

I'm on contract vodafone and the usual wap.vodafone.co.uk would do absolutly nothing. I put in internet as said on the above site and it finally worked. I gather this is something to do with it being an 'internet access point' rather than a 'WAP access pont'.

Over the last day or so I've gone through allowing permissions for all apps possible, all different permutations of APN using .com .net, different usernames wap wap, web web, deleting it, restarting it again and again etc and none of it worked.

I'm just so happy that using the word internet as an APN worked I thought I'd share it.

Hope this solves a few headaches
