Keep on them, they will help eventually.
If you don't give up first.

| Agreed. Have tried in vain to get them to send me a download I purchased after I lost it in an upgrade fiasco and they won't even respond. They make great games, but I make it a point not to stay involved with non-responsive companies. | | Offline

| I just changed my Blackberry under warranty and I've submitted a request to change my activation codes because their web page where you can change them is broken. Hopefully, I'll get a response sometime soon. If I don't then when I receive my Amex bill, I will dispute the charge with Amex and let Magmic take the hit. No response is just plain unacceptable in my book. | | Offline

| Agreed. They make great games but their support is terrible.
I paid to get a couple games from them with problem download or upgrade. They never reply even once after many emails sent.
Instead, I received great support from those free games site. This is very hilarious. | | Offline

| It's too bad really. Such a great product and yet a complete lack of attention paid to the customer service side. You can get better service from a fly-by-night J2ME software dealer than these guys... maybe they'll figure it out. And I don't mind paying for software at all. I try to support developers. In the meantime, though, with respect to Magmic, I'll keep my wallet shut. | | Offline

| Just wanted to report a bit of good news. After exchanging a few emails with the support guys at Magmic, I got my updated codes. I'm glad because the stories here weren't good. It only took about a day and a half to get them and they included a code for Ka-Glom in addition to the games that I had already purchased. Maybe Magmic has heard some of the frustrations here and is trying to improve their support. | | Offline

| I also have a big problem with one of their games (chess - the new update sucks). No responses at all...
But for those of you who need to activate a game on your new blackberry - have you registered on Magmic's website? Got your old PIN number handy? There's actually a way to update your activation codes yourself. But you first have to have a valid registration with a current BB, so that you can actually see your codes. Then, you login to your account, and update your PIN... | | Offline

I put in my old PIN and it never listed the games that I had purchased and activated with that old PIN. That's when I emailed support letting them know it was broken and asking if they would just give me new codes for my new PIN. Thankfully, they did. | | Offline

| Eh, I give up. Sent a few more emails three days ago and no response. Weak. It will be a cold day in hell before I do any business with Magmic again. Too bad. Their software is generally quite good. | | Offline

| Apologies to everyone on this thread and to those who has had some frustration with getting support from us. We're on it and adding staff to our support team as we are keen to get back to a state we were at when people praised our support!
Again, sorry for the inconveniences we have caused people.

| Magmic Support Team-
Since you are here, would you mind terribly responding to one of my emails regarding a mid-Dec purchase? I would send you an email, but, well, you know...
check your support emails for jrawlin2 AT midsouth DOT rr DOT com, or
jonraw AT comcast DOT net.
Please advise in this forum.
