Default No Success with Any AIM Client - 02-17-2007, 07:18 PM

I have been trying to get an AIM client to run on my BB, I have the 8700g and I am having NO luck.

Ramble downloaded fine but it gave me an error "Invalid Connection String: could not open tunnel - failed". So I deleted it.

Now I'm trying GoogleTalk but there is so much crap that I need to install and run that its making my head hurt. I never use gmail for one, Miranda, Google Talk or none of that, so I am not familiar with any of it and its driving me nuts.

I just want to simply use AIM on my Blackberry without going thru a hassle. The OZ client sucks and It will no longer let me login, it stays on the 20% screen forever.

This is really starting to annoy me, and I just want to use AIM successfully :(

Please if anyone can help me out at all I would REALLY appreciate it.

Thank you.

also, you need to add your apn to your phone.
if its tmobile then its wap.voicestream.com
if its at&t you have to look it up.
