Shortly after I got my new BB Pearl, I started filling it with apps that I had used regularly on my PocketPC device, I've pretty much replaced every one of them except for a working version of Scrabble. One of the apps I used a great deal was the game Backgammon. I tried out a number of them, but the one that appealed to me the most was the one from Odesys (odesys.com).

Recently I had a desire to get some card games that I hadn't replaced yet, and at $3.00 each, I could get a bunch of them from Odesys. Now, keeping in mind that I was able to get free versions of Klondike and Spider Solitaire (Magmic) at the mobile blackberry site, I still liked the look of the ones from Odesys. Before I bought them, I downloaded the demos to try them out first.

Imagine my surprise when I discovered that the OTA installation of each of their demo apps overwrote any previous Odesys app I had installed. Apparently there was a glitch in the downloading system. When I brought this to their attention, they responded quickly, and soon asked me to test the demo downloads again which they had fixed. They then fixed the pay download links, and reset my download counters so I could download the apps I had purchased.

All of this took place within 24 hours. I have to say, I am really impressed with their responsiveness and assistance. It's nice to see that there are still companies out there that believe in fast, courteous service.
