Default Cisco VPN client? - 02-24-2007, 12:19 PM

(the last threads I find about this are almost a year old, so I'll ask again in case someone has new information )

Has anyone seen/spotted/found a BlackBerry Cisco VPN client for connecting to a standard Cisco 3000-series Concentrator at your workplace? Google searches are turning up pretty bleak, references to the BB 7270 handset are about the closest I can come. A few folks mentioned in threads they wrote to RIM, asking if the client would be released standalone....but no followups.

Anyone have some new info, seen a client (commercial, free, whatever) or written one themselves? I use the open source connector under linux (*) which works great, so it's not too far-fetched an idea to have an open source BB/J2ME version...
