Default LED alert lights/different colors

Please Login to Remove!

I know there is BB Alerts for this and limited to only sms/email/phone calls...

I havent found anything else close to this but would be nice if there were something out there (or up and coming) that you could still change the LED color for sms/email (possibly even for different people) but also for different programs...Yahoo, JiveTalk, IM+, ect..or something specific that you might have loaded on your BB and could set up the alert for that program.

Would something like this be hard or impossible for someone to come up with? I'm not entirely sure but I thought you could setup different tones in profiles for alerts..which works fine if you can hear but for us that are deaf, the LED light alerts would be a big plus.

I agree with you Iraed as I only use the vibrate and light alerts since I am hearing impaired.

I have mine set to vibrate and flash the led. Granted it's red only but I still get a popup on top of those on an inbound IM.

Mostly everything else I want an alert for (meetings, tasks, etc.) are much the same.

Most applications that you need an alert for (because of some event) inject themselves into your profiles.

I don't mean to come across as "what more do you want?" but... um, what more do you want?
