Default Stupid question of the day

Please Login to Remove!

In order to get apps and so forth on my 8700, do I need to download them through teh Blackberry internet connection or can I do it through the PC and use the USB connect to get it to the blackberry?

YOu can go through the PC. Just download the software, and use the desktop software, ( while you're synced up to your device ), click on the Install program ( I forget the actual name of it ), and then click add, then browse to the alx file.

NEWB
Both ways is possible. A lot of apps are available Over The Air (OTA as we call it) and they can be installed over the internet connection. Just use your BB browser.

For PC connection you will need to install the deskop manager software. Once u install it, you can download the and install apps via USB.
