Unhappy Msn Im - 03-17-2007, 08:14 PM

I'm trying to set up MSN IM on my 8700g, but I can't get an APN connection.

Is there any software that connects to MSN messenger without it? If not, why does GoogleTalk work?

Do you have a BlackBerry Data Plan? I've used eMSN, MiM, IM+, QuickIM all MSN clients with little or no issues connecting.

Yes, I have a Blackberry Data Plan, but I am unable to set up a APN (the provider's settings are not working).

Google Talk works fine. I have tried QuickIM but it was unable to establish a connection. I'll try the other ones.

do you have to install a client on the BB device itself? Or is it installed on the BES server? If so, where do you download this from? I want to get MSN up and running on all our devices.
