I have a 957 and cannot spell.:( Is there a low cost spell checker available? A search mentioned eSpell or something like that but it needed or seemed to need eOffice at a cost of well over $100.

I think you can purchase eSpell on its own but I don't think it works on the older C++ devices just the newer Java enabled units...

Problem with eSpell is that it spells only with in the eOffice. There is another product called MetaMessager but they want to change you a monthly fee to use it.

Like you I want a on the device, one-time-charge product. Meta looks like it if they did not have the monthly fee.

Default Spell Checker

bbSpell from somedevelopers.com offers a spell checker that works with the native email application.

eSpell released about 2 months ago can spell your e-mails. The reason it could not do it before had to do with 3.7 version of OS which did not allow editing of composed e-mails by 3rd party apps.

Default bbSpell

bbSpell works on any 3.6+ devices, and will spell-check email within the Blackberry email editor.
