Thanks Stevestr, for the heads-up. It's a great resource on the road and pretty cool with all the translations, all via volunteer work.

We'll have the fix the search portion of Berry411 (I can call it that if I want). Lately, I noticed it just goes to the main page instead of searching your word. I think it had to do with the link staying the same when you navigate the site. Any thoughts?

I don't see versions which contain the Apocrypha. Still a great resource... the only difference is the seven OT books.
English

World English Bible
King James Version
New International Version
American Standard Version

cool! i was looking for a BB bible...thanks a bunch!

sidenote: is there a text version that I can save onto my BB (or media card)? Sometimes I don't have that great reception at church...so having a text version available on my BB would be extremely handy...(one of the few things i miss from my WM5 MDA...)

Default FREE BB Bible (Text Version)

Was thinking the SAME think b/c I commute on the NYC subway. Did a google search and found a FREE app...

Olive Tree Bible Software - BibleReader for BlackBerry Devices

Hope this helps!

SafeHaven

ETA: The bible reader app is free. You have a choice of "free" or "pay" text versions depending on the language and translation.

Great find SafeHaven! I have been using Mobible.org for quite sometime now but I have also wanted a native app.

Downloading now, thanks!

I also found some other free downloads on Olive Tree's site for Blackberrys:

God's Word
Practice of the Presence of God

The only free Bible to download for the Blackberry is the American Standard Version (ASV):

American Standard Version (ASV)

Excellent resource! Now I have something to read when I'm sitting in a waiting room, or on occasion when I have time.
