I have a BB 8700c Cingular Wireless. I was getting three (3) error messages until I set up the security options TLS and the advanced options TCP (From prior posts). I am still getting the following error message when doing a test in gcalsync:

Testing phone calendar:
ok

Testing HTTP:
ok

Testing HTTPS (1/3):
Failed due to net.rim.device.api.io.IOCancelledException: Connection closed

Testing HTTPS(2/3):
ok

Testing HTTPS(3/3)
ok
Some tests failed

How do I correct this problem.

I've had the same problem for months. It worked fine for me and synced fine for a bit, but then it went all funky on me and was off by hours. They really do need to come out with an updated version.

I think I am going w/ companionlink. I tried it, liked it w/ no problems to report, but am/was searching for a free app. I guess you get what you pay for.
