Maybe this is not a breakthrough app for some but we did not find most of the current apps user friendly so we gave it a shot.
We developed a free blackberry application Maufait that offers 411 /local/yellow pages search, weather, stock quotes, movie showtimes. We are also adding Flight Status, News and Book review. We will add new serices based on user feedback.

Maufait saves all previous locations so you don't have to type it in everytime.

The program and service is free. To make it compatible with most phones we used a midlet-to-web model. Since its a midlet-to-web model, anytime a new service is added you don't have to download again.
