Default Help with Opera Mini

Please Login to Remove!

I'm not sure if this is the right section or not, but I have a 8703e with Verizon and up until about a week ago, Opera Mini was working great. Now it won't connect to anything. I didn't change anything so I'm not sure what happened. The default internet browser works fine, but Opera Mini is much better. Any suggestions on how to fix it? Thanks.

Do you have your APN settings correctly still in place at Options, Advanced, TCP? If so, pull the battery to reboot and see of OM works then.

Thanks for the reply. I never knowingly changed the APN settings. If they were changed would the default browser work? The default browser works, it's just Opera Mini that won't connect to any websites any longer. I also don't see a TCP choice under the Advanced Options menu. Does Verizon have it hidden somewhere else? I tried removing the battery and rebooting, but no luck.

Yes. I don't know what's up. I've had it for 8 months and no problem and now all of a sudden Opera Mini just can't connect to anything.

Your company may have pushed out a new policy restricting use of TCP. You can check by going to Options >Security Options >General Settings and scroll down and look at the IT Policy and the date stamp.

I didn't make any changes, but all of a sudden after not working for a week, Opera Mini starting working again this morning. I don't know...maybe pulling the battery did the trick, but it wasn't working yesterday after I tried that. Thanks for all your help though.
