Hi all Blackberry Users:

We are glad to announce the upgrade to our Stock Quotes Section.

If you trade stocks, if you are a short term/swing trader, if you want to take advantage of rapid stock fluctuations, you will love this new feature.

We have added
- Recently used Symbols: To avoid typing and quick access
- Market Momentum : Quick snapshot of the indices, Last and % change
- Get Top 5

1. Price Advances
2. Price Declines
3. Percent Advances
4. Percent Declines

We are also working on adding other quick and valuable snapshots Funds, ETFs, All Market Indices

Would appreciate all feedbacks.

Is this free? I'd assume the quotes are delayed 15 mins, but the web site says that they are real time?!?! For what exchanges? Who is the kind soul paying the exchange fees for all of the realtime data??

BB Devices I've owned: 957 : 7750 : 7250 : 8703e

It's great to be able to view your stocks on your berry.. I do everyday, serveral times a day infacet.. but if you can't trade with it, what is the point? I am currently trying to find a way to do this. I was wondering if your software enables online trading thru a brokerage. I am using Credential Direct and I can log in and access everything but it will not let me execute a trade. I find the issue very frustrating as it would be highly beneficial for me to be able to do such tasks.

Yes it does. You will need to set your APN settings

I agree. And that is our goal to let users even trade from their Blackberry.

maufait is still in its infancy and we have a lot to do. Some of the initial challenges we face in allowing trade through bb is that the broker will have to allow us to access their system, Authentication, 24X7 cusomer support [big customer care team], insurance, huge IT department, the list goes on and on.

We are working towards trading from cell phone feature. We started maufait as a hobby and now we are seeing a lot of sign ups. That is a big motivator.

You can still see the stock movement on Maufait and call your broker to place the trade

Seems a little buggy...It use to remember the last 5 stock quotes entered but it doesn't appear to do that anymore. Also if I click "My portfolio" you are able to add stocks by entering the symbol and clicking the save button. However nothing is saved. I entered 10 and only the last symbol entered showed.

I assume this is work in progress...would love it if it was what you advertised.....
