Default Great Instant Message Program better than verichat

Please Login to Remove!

Ive only found vague links to this program on blackberry forums so i bring you a semi new find. Since i just found out about it maybe it will be new to you guys too.
This program is awesome it has built in support for multiple logins to
Yahoo
MSN
AIM
ICQ
and Jabber
Connections are awesome and dont break out (though ive only had it for a day)
production is still in beta phase so it is still having some quirks but its the best instant messanger on Palm so porting over to blackberry will take some time.
The name of the program is Causerie messenger by http://www.Mantragroup.com
you can find support and downloading of the program if you go to their website
http://www.mantragroup.com
In the dropdown menu for products you will find Causerie messenger.
then in the left hand menu you click on the last button "Forum"
you have to register and then click on the Causerie for Blackberry application link.
in the second post you will find the program causerie .9.1 which works like a charm.
you can also try this direct link but i cant promise that it will work without logging in
http://www.mantragroup.com/bb/Causerie-0.9.1.zip
I love this program and rate this thread if you think others will too
Great job blackberry forums!!!

I'm unclear as to what makes this better than verichat - just curious?

I have used this product since it became a beta. It works awesomly till it quit and has never worked since. I did like it better than verichat and webmessenger just seemed more user friendly.

I went on the site...and looked all around.... how much is this, and what exact features make this better than verichat, other than verichat's constant siging off?

I would like to know cost too. I use Verichat right now on a trail basis. It has its +/- like anything else. But would like to know cost of this one.

I just took it for a test drive, and I've already removed it. I'm not sure of the cost, but I thought the interface was REALLY klunky. The one plus I'd give it is that it has listings for multiple accounts for each IM client. two Yahoo's, msn's icq's, etc.

I don't really have the time or patience to trouble shoot, and it kept logging me off MSN immediately, so BEGONE!

Default Okay here it goes IT IS FREE

Okay features it has
Its Free (For now)
It does not disconnect like verichat (ive had it running nonstop since the first post on 3 accounts)
It allows you to have multiple IM accounts on at the same time up to 6
Allows you to use Bots that are built into the messenger for traffic and other info
and did i mention it is free!!!
It has a much better notification system and the messages dont slow down the handheld half as much as verichat.
here are screenshots posted on their website

2) Does not retain connection for long time if you are on phone or if phone is turned off/on
3) Alerts - Vibrate + Midis
Please let us know if you see some new bugs or need some changes.
THis is what it says on their site
The next version due tommorow will have the support for automatic reconnect when connection is lost.

Hi!
I just checked out the Causerie. I don´t think its free, because, when i go into the menu and license, it says expiry date 05/18/05, what would give me 2free weeks for trial ("evaluation version"). But besides this, not bad!
