Anyone successfully get Blackchat to work on a Verizon 7250 without BES? I've read a few posts saying you need BES and I've read a few saying that you don't need BES.

I have it loaded, it connects (I know this because it will log my desktop client out, saying that I have connected from another location). But after that...nothing. Blackchat shows my icon as connected, but no one on my friends lists sees me as connected. I can't add contacts, it brings up the add window but then nothing else happens. Pressing the Message button does nothing. And then, after awhile, it times out.
