Default Crossword? - 05-03-2005, 08:30 PM

Has anyone found a decent crossword app for BB? One that can download and play .puz files compatible with Across Lite?

Merriam-Webster Crossword is on Handango, but I'm not sure it's worth the $$$. Can anyone offer a review?

I have one called crossboard which is a free app. Not sure where I got it however nor do I know much about it except it works on my 7290. Maybe someone can give you the link.

There it is:

http://www.getjar.com/products/520/CrossBoard

Or wap.GetJar.com from the BB, Quick Download -> enter Code 606

Warning: It took a VERY long time (5 minutes?) to "initialize" on my 7200T and was unresponsive for 10 minutes before I lost patience.

Very strange. It takes 12 seconds to present the puzzle and about 2 more to get the first question. Have not spent any time with it so can't say much else.
