Default Wachovia Application - 05-23-2007, 05:44 PM

Hey guys, long time lurker, first timer poster. Does anyone know of a program that, if you have your Wachovia account set up online, will let you look at your balance and maybe a few recent transactions without opening the browser? If not, are there any software designers out there that would like to take on this task? I would definitely be a beta (or alpha) tester.

It'd be a great application.

I personally don't think the banks would like it that much--some automatic data puller coming along and entering their system and pushing financial data to your BlackBerry. There would have to be some tight security in place. I am not sure I would want that information traveling around.

Logon on to the Wachovia site and subscribe to alerts which will email you your balanced and other information as you select.

I was just going to add that. I get emails every morning with my balance. Wachovia has a lot of email type alerts.

Cool! I wud luv to have one for me as well. The only reason I guess why the devs arent interested in it cud be either because -

1. Technically difficult to have real time updates.
2. Limited audience for such an application - i mean with so many banks out there, they will have to write it for every bank, and then they dont know how many ppl will be buying it?

wondering.. ?!
