I would second that wholeheartedly!! The BB PIM stinks- we need a developer to see the opportunity there and help out. Just adding contact/activity linking would be a great start.

Hi Guys

Thanks for all your interest! Right now, we have pretty much finalised everything in terms of features which are going to be in the product.

We have been in discussion now with MobiHand and plan on launching through them very shortly

I'll let you all know when it is out!

I'd also like to take this opportunity to publicly thank all of you for all your interest and support in our product. It really means a lot to us and we really did not expect to receive this much attention.

Extra thanks go out to all the beta testers who put in their own time and effort to help us out. You guys were absolutely fantastic! And it's because of the great job you guys did that BlackBerrySmart will continue to return to bbforums to offer beta versions of future products. And we've got some real interesting ones coming up

Peace out.

Cheers,
eZainny.

Thanks to YOU for going overboard in trying to accomodate everyone's wishes. Most developers would just go with the "mainstream" and not worry about the "fringes" figuring that people would "buy it anyway".

It's been a pleasure helping out with the beta testing.

From someone who's been watching this on the sidelines, I have to say this looks very promising! It's obvious from the posts by the beta testers that a lot of effort has gone into this.

I can't wait to see the finished product ,and I wish you the best!

eZaine, thankx a ton for giving us wat we really really neeeded.. I know u r going to TOP MY FAVORITE list very soon!

Will we who missed the beta by a few hours, have a chance to try the product as well? I mean will you have a trial or do you just mark it for sale only without ANY trial for the rest of us?

I know it has been tested by the beta testers, and I'm not doubting your coding skills at all (afterall you've been great to give us this ) but just 7 days of testing may not really be enough to mark it fit for ALL devices and ALL networks.. If you can put the product as trialware like so many other vendors, that will give us all an opportunity to see how well it works on our individual devices before they purchase it. For ex, do some of the features get restricted by an IT policy, or clashes with the native email, or some other app.. etc etc.

J.

Hi Trevor,

Nothing set in stone at the moment. But we were thinking around $25. Judging from the prices of other products on the market, we believe that would be a fair price to ask.

Cheers,
eZainny.

Thanks for your interest jocelyn.

I can confirm that we will definitely be putting out a trial version which you can try for free.

Regards,
eZainny.

Hi All,

Alright, I've just had a look back through all the feedback I've received. I know I said I would only choose one beta tester who I thought gave "the best" feedback, but it's just too damn hard So there are 3!

CableGuy711 - Gave very comprehensive feedback. Found a number of problems and also overall just did a real fine job

Klotar - Another great beta tester. Went above and beyond to provide me with screenshots and overall just kept giving. Great job champ.

OrganicBerry - Picked up a number of issues with the email display that nobody else caught out and overall was friendly, responsive and downright helpful

Congrats guys. You rock If you ever find yourself down in Australia, be sure to send me an email because I owe each of you a beer. It's much better than that American stuff

Also, you'll be entitled to full free copies of any application BlackBerrySmart releases in future This is just the beginning for us...

To all the beta testers, thanks heaps for your efforts! You too helped make this the product it is.

Have a great day all!

Cheers,
eZainny.

I think that is a reasonable price. Will this be a user license or a device license. (user=When we upgrade our device we can remove the program from the first and install on the second, device= The user must buy a new license if he upgrades his blackberry.)

Maybe you could even consider a tiered structure like the one with Jivetalk. They have a user license for $30 and a user license for $20. Just a thought.

Please, that’s enough. Recently I’ve seen way too many threads that come to pissing matches by users arguing over nothing.

If there is something that you read that bothers you then you have an option to move on to another thread or click the report post button.

Thank you... I have been a member of Blackberryforums for a long time now (I don't post a lot mind you) and I have to admit that as the Blackberry platform and this site gain in popularity, it seems to be attracting ... huh... less "mature" posts. This forum has always been and is still the number one place to get advices, tips, suggestions, help and software previews. As a professional I have always been able to rely on the quality of the posts here... Lately it has become a bit difficult to sort through the less "meaningful" messages...

Thanks John Clark and all other mods for an outstanding job... You guys are pros!
