Default BBToday - 05-29-2007, 12:19 PM

Downloaded BBToday using OTA. Is there a way to change the weather location as it appears as Woodlands, Tx when I am in NY? Also, is there a way to completely shut off the weather as I have already downloaded BBWeather for the Pearl?

Yes, highlight your weather section, click to menu, Preferences, and enter another zip code for the city or location you prefer.

If you want to simply delete the weather plugin--click Options and in the slot where it says WEATHER, delete and save.

Very very simple.

Tried both options, neither of them worked.
On changing the location, tried the zip and the code for the US location in TWC Weather, then hit save, but still remains on Woodlands.

On disabling the weather, went to Options and then made Weather as no plug in, save it, but it still shows up.

Yes it works, if you saved the settings after you changed them. Pull your battery and reboot the phone and see if it did, and let us know.

Thanks for the help. That seemed to work. To uninstall if originally installed via OTA, go to Options-Advanced Options and delete the app from there or does it need to be done via the desktop manager?

No, you can delete from the Options > Advanced > Applications. You might find some piece of it also in Modules, under Applications. Then again, pull the battery to reboot.
