I've just installed the Gmail mobile application (the one available through google) and I have two questions.

1. It doesn't appear that the program automatically refreshes (I have to manually click refresh to get any new emails). Is there any auto-refresh feature and can I change the frequency with which it refreshes?

2. Is there a notification setting (similar to if I was using the BB email software) so that when I get a new e-mail, i get some sort of notification?
