Not that I know anything about programming for BB's.. but make sure that is a feature that you can turn on and off, as some things can get messed around when you there are a lot of emoticons like ;) the standard and ;) are normally ok but I know typing on some forums that change all the : things it starts to change things you don't want changed.

Since your taking requests about sms, please create a threaded sms program. I will give you through the weekend. Then, I demand to test.

I would love to do something with SMSs - the problem is RIM who have completely locked down developer access to do anything useful with SMSs...

There is a reason why Windows Mobile devices have much better software than the BlackBerry and that reason starts with an R...

Yeah, sorry, this just isn't possible at the moment There are actually a huge number of things I would love to do for the BB if I could.

Actually, I bet a number of other devs are even looking at my program and wondering how the hell I do it, AND make it compatible with all devices going right back to the 7230 Which is the reason you guys have all wanted something like this for so long but never got it.

What can I say? Magic...

Beta version is going out to tester on Mon. If that all goes well, hoping to have it in stores (where there will be a trial version available too) a week or two later.

I'm so sad I didn't respond in time to beta test this piece of software. It looks like it is shaping up to be a great piece of software, I can't wait to hear some feedback about it/get my hands on it.

Keep us posted!

Not yet, I'll put it up when I feel it is a bit more close to being ready. I've also already got it so you can press Space to move down and Alt+Space to move up. I've had a couple of people now mention pressing 3 and 9 to move up and down? Is this only on a couple of devices? On my 8700, pressing 3 and 9 doesn't do anything.

Would love to give you feedback on the business side. Have been using a pocket pc for many years and just switched to the BB curve and am kicking myself for not switching sooner but having that experience with the pocket PC. I can tell you this product you are developing is something the blackberry is lacking. Let me know if you would feedback on the business side of our product. I have been a beta tester for many PC products
