Is there any Bible freeware for the BlackBerry 8300 that is currently available for download?

Thanks...

Try olivetree.com They have Blackberry 8800 versions that should run fine on the 8300. GodsWord version, and some others are free.
Good reading!

Bieks is top notch:
BlackBerry Bible viewer - introducing Noah Bible Study for BlackBerry

Their Bible reader is great, so are their various language dictionaries. I would highly recommend them.

Thanks bro!

The 22nd chapter of the second book of Samuel also contains my life scripture.

All public domain bibles released by BEIKS are free.

The viewer itself...well, we have families and pay taxes too

Besides, customers tell us that functionality-wise it *is* the best out there.

As someone heavily involved with the project management I can tell you this would not have been the case if we could not afford hiring top notch BlackBerry developers to work on every next release.

Unlike most Bible translations, which are only updated once every 10 or 20 years, mobile applications require constant updates literally every 6 to 12 months....which is the reason why commercial solutions will keep on being better than the freeware/open source ones.

There will always be exceptions, of course. Don't want to start a commercial/open source war here, just throwing in my 2 cents...
