Default Position of Causerie??????? - 05-09-2005, 12:52 AM

I am new to this hand held world and to start with, I am using Causerie for my new BlackBerry phone. It is going very well and presently it is also free. I want to find out how others feel about this and Please let me know about the other options I have here???

The bad thing is connecting .. sometimes it wont always connect

The second thing is a fade away from the network and losing connection and not knowing ..

the third thing is it doesnt seem to update buddy status too well ..

Even for me it is getting disconnected now and then. It will be better if the MantraGroup fixes its problems and let us enjoy the Causerie completley.

The problem is they have it running on a test server and they dont have enough connections spaces available so they disconnect and idle connection.

Well I'm sure your not alone and I'm sure your wish is the goal of every application development team. Be patient. The way I look at it is until they run my trial out and I'm forced to buy it while its still under serious development: let them work it all out.. Cause once I buy it and its not working.. Then i'll be upset. So unless you paid for it, be patient with them we would all like he app to work flawlessly..

You can also visit their forums to ask more and learn more about where they are with the developement. I myself actually formed a single thread to file all BB issues and its progress which has yet to be answered ..

I am starting to love Causerie ,just used it only once in my very new Blackberry and I strongly feel that it will go very good if its small problems are fixed. By the way are there any IM's better than Causerie.

What did you like the most in Causerie? I am too much attracted to its interface, logging simultaneously with 2 AIM accounts and some other good features.

As stated before.. when Causerie get their issues settled (which seem to be plauged by all IM application) they will make a great choice.

Still not working for me....

When I try the link to the .jad file with my blackberry I get
Error: Invalid manifest or application descriptor.

So now I have wiped the old version off like you said to in the forum and can't d/l the new version, so I tried d/l the old version from your site and that link is screwed as well.

C'mon get your act together
