Default Problems with the Gmail App : Network Unavailable - 06-08-2007, 07:14 AM

I'm trying to access the gmail app on my 8800 but am getting the "Network Unavailable" message, and for the life of me I can't work out why.

Can anyone give me any where to start looking?

It might be a stupid question. When you get the "network unavailable" message from your Gmail app, were you able to browse a website from your BB?

Why use the gmail app anyways? It does not auto update. If you set up your gmail account and use the BIS then your email is instant. The only reason i would see not to use the BIS is if youw ant to keep that mail completely seperate..

Yes, I had just downloaded the app. Can access the web without any issues.
