Default Time Zone Converter - 06-08-2007, 07:49 AM

Can someone suggest me which FREE program would handle time zone conversion for BB?

What I am looking for is a program would take my current time (or any time I enter) and convert to a specific timezone I select to. I would also want this program to be a standalone BB program which it would work when the data is off (ie. not a program which requires to access to data).

any ideas?

plchan,

Not sure if this exactly fits the bill but I use World Clock a j2me application that can put multiple clocks on your screen. If you have know a city in the time zone you can find the time for that zone.

Instructions to load from the freej2me website -

Mobile Installation Instructions
The easiest way to install is via the WAP site, which contains links to all the J2ME applications. Enter the following URL onto your phone and choose the application you want to install.

http://www.freej2me.co.uk/mobile.wml

The other way of installing is to directly enter the following URL into your device via the Services menu option or something similar. You will be asked whether you wish to accept the file onto your device, enter yes and the application will be installed.

http://www.freej2me.co.uk/Clock_small.jad for the smaller version and http://www.freej2me.co.uk/Clock_large.jad for the larger version.

SMF,

Thanks for the link. I installed it and it looks nice. It is free so I can't complain much
