Ani,

Could you let use know when the final shipment of licenses has gone out? I have yet to receive mine but registered many times with the website to be sure.

Thanks,

-David

david, We started with the first batch of 500 people yesterday just to be sure that license generation goes fine. We are sending app. 100 emails an hour, so you see - the whole process will take "some" time ! Since u have registered you will be receiving one in the process.

I encountered this same problem in version 2.0.

Thumbs down Tag Line Spam - 07-10-2007, 11:18 AM

Well, I was liking this application however I have removed it now. The 2.0 upgrade started adding SPAM to the end of the messages I sent.

1. Empower has nothing to do with sending messages, so this statement is false.
2. I was not notified in any way it was going to do this.
3. There is no option to remove it.

I am sure after a license key is entered, maybe you can remove this. If not, then that is an even more serious issue.

Other than that, great program, keep up the good work, just remove the spam.

I saw that too, however if you go to advanced options and uncheck "Append Signature" it goes away.

Go to Advanced Options within the initial Empower options screen and uncheck "append signature"

This option was/is available in both the trial and full versions.

George - you don't even need a license to remove it. Just browser to Empower Options > Advanced Options and Uncheck 'Append Signature'.

Its actually a precursor to an upcoming feature in our next release. Also, we believe its on the same lines as Sent via T-Mobile, Sent via BlackBerry, and can be removed even in non-registered version as explained above.

Thanks.
Ani.

I removed that SPAM after registering the product. In advanced options.

You don't need to register to switch off the SIGNATURE.

Goto menuitem "Empower Options" > "Advanced Options" > "Append Signature"

And uncheck it. Thats it!

You should've done a better job reading the release announcement.

When using version 2 of the software I noticed the following problem.

If I press the menu button on the To: Person A link I get,

Email Person B
Email Person A
PIN Person B
Call Person B
SMS Person B
MMS Person B
MMS Person A

If I toggle to text, I get,

Email Person A
PIN Person A
Call Person A
SMS Text Person A
MMS Person A

If I press the menu button on the From: Person B link I get,

Email Person B
Email Person B
PIN Person B
Call Person B
SMS Text Person B
MMS Person B

If I toggle to text, I get,

Email Person B
PIN Person B

Thanks David for reporting this one. It was fixed in the previous release. We will investigate how its crept back again.

Had I not caught that myself, I would've been just as annoyed when it started showing up on emails.

I put in my info when I tried out version .7 so will I still get the free license? I have not got any updates since the one that updated me to .7 from .35. I just downloaded the trial to see the newer look and features.

Has anyone received an email about downloading a keygen to get their license? How easy is the program to remove once it has given you the license?
