what i would like, and would probably be hard to do, is a look like the real email. Like in Opera Mini Beta 4. i really like that look, and if u could do that to email, zoom function n all. you would be god. Blackberry God Ani

Grab your copies at the usual urls -
OTA: www.getEmpower.com/emv.php
DM : www.getEmpower.com/emvzip.php
This release fixes two known issues we had with previous versions, namely
1. The view falling back to text-mode on longer emails during scrolling.
2. Space would only page once, and not more.
Some minor improvements here and there also been made to keep the program quick and fast..
Known issues -
1. Keyboard Shortcuts on 8100 to be implemented.
2. Some images do not show up correctly.
Sidenote for those 'new to Empower' : - Empower HTML Mail Viewer supports ALL OS version from 4.0.2 and above !
- Empower integrates completely with your native email, so functions like View Attachments, Mark Unread, Save & File etc all work !
Let us know what you think of this release.
Thanks!

Vast improvement, and I am now sold on Empower, over the "other" product.
Competition is a great thing!
Thanks for all your effort.

Did you go there on your BB? That's the OTA link, and worked for me earlier today.
If viewing on your desktop, go to Empower!
Fantastic app! Thanks!

I haven't seen this issue mentioned yet. I found it today when I sent a PIN message to another BB user and attached an address from my address book. He could not view it or save it. Even after toggling back to text. The only way to view it was uninstall the program. We tried to email it next, that did not work either. With other attachments, we can open them. This only occurs when we attach an address from our address book. This is on 8700, 8830 and 8300 models. Version .70.
Setup? Bug?

Wow, this rocks.
.7 works great for me. Good job guys
I was surprised at my color choice, but the orange on black is so easy to read. I'm using that now!

It appears Empower and BlackberrySmart are similar programs...I did a search for empower vs blackberrysmart and came up empty handed. I would appreciate any feedback with pros and cons of one program vs the other - i am aware of the price difference and that part does not bother me one way or the other. thank you.

Try both and see it for yourself. it is all about personal preference and wants.
I like both of them, but both of them have their pro and con. I want this in that program and I want that in this program, that's why I am still deciding which one to go to.

I remember seeing that there will be spell check and folder functionality. When is this coming to the program? That would make it awesome! Keep up the good work.

Yep, these two components are under different stages of development.. Amidst of all the emails, feature request and inquiries that we are getting, we are trying to keey our heads up cooking the goodies.. Spellcheck is in final stages of completion and we are holding out because the mail viewer is almost there.. a minor thing here, a minor there.. and then we will move onto bigger things - folders and SpellCheck.. just some time friend..

Any chance you could add the BBMillbank Tall font or add some way to import (ie: use) fonts that are native to the BlackBerry?

Does empower format the email during create and reply as well? I am currently using the trial version of that "Other" email formatter that just got released with version 2.0 and it does not.
Have there been comparisons of the functionality between the two yet anywhere?
Thanks,
Tony

This is absolutely wonderful and does fix the long message, toggles back... issues, but it would be wonderful to be able to access a link using the enter key like I do with my web browsers rather than having to use the scroll wheel to "get link".
Thanks to you and all of your crew for this wonderful update!

I have to constantly toggle to Text view to see all the recipients of my work email.

Same here. I'd like the ability to "scroll up" like you can in the native BB email viewer and see all the recipients.

Yeah, but in the .35 version you could scroll up to see the recipients, in .70 (which is a wonderful upgrade!) you can no longer do that. It cleaned the screen up but it would still be nice to be able to see the recipients in the HTML view.

Is there an option to have Empower load all the images? I frequently get emails where the pics are turned into a url that I have to click on to go to the site to see.
Looking good though.
