Any ideas for playing .wav voicemails that come from my voIP system as email attachments?

For the Verzion 8830, your company BES needs to be at version 4.1.2 (could be 4.1.3). Our BES is at 4.0.6, and the 8800 devices from Cingular plays .wav files just fine, and Sprint has confirmed to me that their upcoming 8830 will play .wav files with BES 4.0.6, too.

However, Verizon confirmed their device is 'different' so the newer BES version is required to play .wav files.

After upgrading, do the .wavs play normally? I was on the phone with RIM for 5 hours last week, they weren't able to get the 8830 to play .wavs, our BES is 4.1 SP3, if you got your BES to play .wavs on the 8830, I'm very interested to know how, RIM hasn't resolved the issue yet...
