Mine was doing the same thing. I just kept trying it over and over and it worked. I was in a "full bars" zone.

Installed that version and still disconnects periodically on my 7520 but it is better. One thing is wierd though, Yahoo is signed in but I can't send or receive messages. Very weird.

Yes, This is in no way a guaranteed version. This is simply what I got from PDAapps. It works wonders on my berry, but who knows. I specifically told them I use T-Mobile after they asked so that may be why. Anyways, go for it.

I think because of the way nextels system is configured we will always get disconnected. Just like on the HTML browser we cant stay connected to it and use the phone at the same time like others can.

That may be the reason. It is still working well (2 days later) and everything seems better. It could quite possibly be carrier related.

I only loose connection when I loose a signal it appears and the area I work in is spotty coverage indeed. I have to go outside my Job trailer to make a call if I move one foot to the left or the right I loose signal.. only three places in my site I can make calls or email.

Default installation problems - 05-13-2005, 03:48 PM

I seem to have similar installation problems. I can only do ota updates for verichat. The application loader gives me missing file "images" problem. I cant even use the application loader for other applications. Any suggestions (i have uninstalled verichat on blackerry, downloaded new versions etc.)

Default Timeouts - 05-13-2005, 05:58 PM

Installation went fine from desktop installer for me, but I'm getting connection timeouts. I'm in a 4bar spot, so I dunno if that's the issue or not. (Cingular 7290 user.)

poty,

Are you on the AT&T side still? If you are using a BWC, you are in the same boat as myself. You WILL NOT be able to connect. I get the same error "BAD DNS ADDRESS" and when I talked to AT&T about it, they told me because I am not on any type of Enterprise Server I will not be able to use this feature. I was quite frustrated about it but I got over it. I need this feature for my business but I am just dealing without it.

mdavis71,

I was trying the trial version. Does it make a difference? I would hate to buy it and it not work.

im using the trial version. i think the trial is for 2 weeks. mine expires on the 29th good thing i found this out so i won't waste money getting it. you would think the cingular tech support would say that. damn those people are useless. spent over an hour on the phone with them telling me to "power on power off", like it was a damn chorus.

Anyone have a free full version? I don't mean to sound like a prick, but $34.95 for the program is a bit high to me considering i'll hardly use it. I just think its really convenient and i'm really digging the trial.
