Is there any confirmation you are on the mailing list? When I downloaded the beta, the page didn't refresh so there was no confirmation that the address was sent.

Pablo, when you entered your name and email on the OTA download link - Empower! it will install the app on your device. Successful installations means you are in there in the system.

maybe ya'll should send out an email to all those who think they opted in so that they know for sure they are in, because i do agree there is no true confirmation, and it kind of leaves you wondering...just a thought...but i love this app, great move and hey i am so compelled to keep my license that I opted in again just in case!

Completely offtopic, but... Pearl 8100 preferred style: Cursive(bold), Small font, None background (or grey but it's a little too dark). That default Cursive font has got to go, imho.

Is there a reason we can't use the default 'BBMillibank Tall 8pt Bold" font in Empower? I actually quite like that font, it's very readable and easy on the eyes.

Not to sound stupid. I just downloaded the program and it seems that I am able to get color backgrounds with colorful font for someone on another bb to view. It woul dnot show on a desktop?????

I also assume I can better view html mail.

Is there something else I am missing?

This is an html email viewer for your BB only. It won't do anything for a receiver of your email (unless they have the same email viewer on a BB.) Your emails go out just as they always have.

How do I know if I have the license?? I followed direction the day the post went up and now have upgraded on my 8703e to ver 0.70.
Is there some confirmation of this license?
And why when I run the desktop manager do I see empower showing action to betaken as "downgrade" ?

If you have provided your name and email to the system, and have successfully install the product OTA then you are in

Confirmation is the successful installation of Empower Mail Viewer.

Oh, and you should further upgrade! Version 0.91 is the latest one.

You dont have to enter your name or email address to download. Just go a little further down on the DL page.

...so the fact that they've shared another IP address might lessen that doubt a bit?

Honestly, I can understand the concept of an open proxy or an AOL proxy, but having two different IP addresses on two different networks and both being something like a national proxy for all of India is a bit unrealistic. But hey, I could be wrong.
