Hi,

Thanks for putting it so clearly guys.

I am quite excited about this arrangement. Empower Mail Viewer has a lot of potential and every BlackBerry owner out there can benefit from it.

We will provide the crucial marketing and enterprise class support so that Empower can reach its real potential.

Misha.

Thanks guys for explaining the situation so well. I personally think its a great strategy. Now Empower has the much-needed base that so many people were asking for!

And hey, I still get to keep my free license THANK YOU GUYS!!

Does this mean if you registered your email on the page for updates, that puts you in the beta?

If not, then how does one opt-in for the beta?

Thanks nathan for reporting this one. Will definitely look into it. Also, it will be real great if we can take product issues up in the original thread dedicated for product feedback and suggestions.

Thanks
Ani.

Is there any confirmation you are on the mailing list? When I downloaded the beta, the page didn't refresh so there was no confirmation that the address was sent.

Pablo, when you entered your name and email on the OTA download link - Empower! it will install the app on your device. Successful installations means you are in there in the system.

maybe ya'll should send out an email to all those who think they opted in so that they know for sure they are in, because i do agree there is no true confirmation, and it kind of leaves you wondering...just a thought...but i love this app, great move and hey i am so compelled to keep my license that I opted in again just in case!

Completely offtopic, but... Pearl 8100 preferred style: Cursive(bold), Small font, None background (or grey but it's a little too dark). That default Cursive font has got to go, imho.

Is there a reason we can't use the default 'BBMillibank Tall 8pt Bold" font in Empower? I actually quite like that font, it's very readable and easy on the eyes.

Just wanted to add my thanks!! First, for letting me be a beta tester, and second, for giving me a free copy of the app.

Good luck and thanks again,

Thanks Rivviepop from dropping by, Cursive and Fantasy are my personal favs. Also to keep this thread on topic, we will take it up in the dedicated thread for product feedback here - http://www.blackberryforums.com/afte...ewer-here.html

Thanks.
