Default Folders/filtering of email on 8830? - 07-09-2007, 03:08 AM

Sorry to be a nuisance with all my requests; I really appreciate the assistance and suggestions I've received so far.

One thing that has been irritating me so far is that I get a ton of email and some SMSs. My 8830 lumps them all into the same folder with no rhyme or reason and buzzes or rings me every time anything from anyone arrives. Some things are much more important than others. Some things I NEED to know when they arrive, and other things I don't want to know at all when they arrive. Also, it drives me nuts having to read/see every single email I get. Much of what I get is email list email--email that I'll eventually read, but only when I have lots of spare time. I'd like to have that email routed to a folder/filter and not be notified that it has arrived.

I understand there's an app possibly being worked on by the Empower team that might be able to do this sort of thing? Are there any other options already available?

Thanks!

Abe

pending on your email service you can set up filters in your email options there, also you can separate your email and SMS folders in your messages menu under general options
