Question After Call Actions - IE make todo, call back etc - 07-14-2007, 08:20 PM

Hi,

Is there an app for BB (8800 specifically, or 8300) that will pop up after you hang up from a call and request if you need to do an action - ie send note, make todo, send email, make appointment etc?
An example of this is availble from IAMBIC for the Palm -it's called Your Call, to me it just so logical.... why have to go to an app then select an action etc etc

Let me know & Thanks...

I use a program call To-Do Matrix by REXwireless: BlackBerry Software Applications. It lets you take phone call and e-mails and inject it into the program for reminders. This programs is great for me!!!

Hope this helps

That looks good, does it pop up after a call and ask you if you want to do something?

Fred, thanks for your reply. When you say that you won't find anything like Your call, is that because the BB can't be made to do something like that, or just that nothing exists today?

Default Your Call - 09-23-2007, 09:07 PM

Iambic, the maker of Action Names is reporting working on a BB versiob. Go to their site and register your email to get updates. I was an early user of Iambic and their v1 Action Names and curently use Todo Matrix on the BB. The inject tool is nice but not perfect yet. I have checked every other piece of software I could find out there to do what action names does, and todo matrix is the closest.

I am hoping more for Agendus than for YourCall. I really miss Agendus on my BB8800.

Thanks,

Mark

Oops, Action Names was the predessessor to Agendus.
As for YourCall, it actually looks a lot like the original Action Names did when it first came out. It was a simple utlity for tracking, recording, and then actioning from the phone call and contact. Agendus became fairly bloated with additional functionality from what I really wanted out of the app.
