Default Avantgo For BB 7520 Nextel Problems - 05-18-2005, 05:42 PM

I am using a BB 7520 with Nextel and wanted to use the new Avantgo software. The trouble is my Nextel Browser is WAP, but I am using a 3rd party HTML browser. Is there a way to configure AVANTgo to open using my HTML browser and not my WAP one? It automatically opens the Nextel online WAP browser and I get an error. Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks
John

I just had an idea. What do you all think if I deleted my NOL WAP browser and stuck with the req wireless HTML browser. Would that screw up any of my settings?

Aventgo will not use the reqwireless browser under any circumstances... You need to have the Blackberry Browser installed. Deleting the NOL browser will not help... Getting the Blackberry Browser is just a matter of upgrading the BB to the latest software revision.....

ugh, omg this is really annoying....I set the NOL as the default. Still nothing. Here is the error message I get:

HTTP error 500: internal Server Error
An unexpected condition was encountered which prevented your request from being fulfilled.

I know this is a pain, and to those that still try to help me, I sooooooo much appreciate it!

Have you tried simply browsing to https://rim.avantgo.com/ with the reqwireless browser?
