Default Does Yahoo messenger send data via BES server?

Please Login to Remove!

Did search round the threads but couldnt find an answer. So here goes:

On the blackberry Yahoo messenger client there are no settings to set SOCKs proxy etc so does it go straight out on the carrier network OR go into our BES server and then out to the carrier network?

The reason I ask is that we would like to control how the blackberry Yahoo messenger clients send messages, if they go directly from the device out to the world then we will have to remove it using the BES policy.

Thanks
