Default JiveTalk Timeout - 07-30-2007, 08:41 PM

Some users reported not being able to login on the new 1.0.2 JiveTalk today - getting timeouts instead. I see the same thing on the 1.0.0 release. Login attempts (gTalk, yahoo) and server pings timeout. Probably some of their servers are down? An issue created with the new release?

Also, someone reported they did not get data service in CA and those users were with TMO.

Wirelessly posted (8700g: BlackBerry8800/4.2.1 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/102)

Likely related to the TMO data outage out west this afternoon.

Hmm. That could be. Thanks, guys.

Anyway, after a few forced shutdowns, the logins worked.
