Question...

Our organization is looking at different ways to communicate with the Blackberrys in the field. Often telephone messages come across that we would like to send out, without calling them. We have discussed emailing them and other ideas, but someone mentioned to us that there is a desktop version or similiar of the Blackberry Messenger that will communicate with the handheld version. Is this true? We currently have the units in the field call in to receive their messages, that way we know they received it, so we are looking at using the "D" and "R" features of the PIN message. We don't want to worry about return receipts on emails. Any other ideas?

Thanks in advance for your input.

Yes... thank you. Something along those lines... although those messages show up in the normal message inbox, so we mine-as-well just send an email. I was hoping for a program that send PIN messages to the Blackberry Messenger so that we could have the R and D results on the screen. Probably not possible I guess.

Has anyone tried the server edition of Microsoft Communicator yet? I don't know if those options are possible with that.

Thanks for your assistance Klotar.
