Default Pocket Day or Similar? - 08-09-2007, 10:47 PM

Anything else out there similar to Pocket Day that I should look at? I like the layout of PocketDay and what it offers. Do not love the GUI. I am a new convert to BB from WM (never going back to that unstable, bloated POS).

Thanks,
-Matt-

If you're from the WM platform (as I am) you may be familiar with PocketInformant. It's not on the BB platform yet, but: http://www.blackberryforums.com/afte...lackberry.html

only other thing is BBtoday, which is free.

it has a much simpler UI that i find to be easier to read, but also lacks in functionality (remember it's free). it cannot show future appointments as well as tasks, so i don't use it.

i use pocketday, the functionality is very nice!
but yes, i'll admit, it is pretty ugly... pd v5 beta, which should be released within a couple weeks, is a lot nicer, but still not anywhere near WM in terms of GUI.

I use BBToday too. This is a great program. It does generate some wireless web traffic but you can adjust the frequency of the updates to your likings. Works pretty well overall

tjk1, you mentioned PD beta v5, is it available for beta testing already?
Thanks.
