How do you remove the expired trial version of Verichat from your BB?

Has the single socket gone out of beta now? Is this a pay release version?

Sadly, it still disconnects me when I make a call. It's odd since this is a single socket IM prog -- It should keep me logged in on their end, and shouldn't show my status to buddies as "offline". Also, it doesn't store IMs when I'm on out of range... so I end up missing IMs.

They're sooooo close to having this software be great.

It's going to log you off when you make a call. That is how it works. That isn't VeriChat logging you off it is actually your TCP connection being severed so that the voice connection can be established.

are there any new functional additions to the product or is it like just fixing some connection problems?

I have IM+ ... supports yahoo, aol, icq, msn...
able to do everything when it runs on the background.
I can surf using full HTML using webviewer, make phone calls.. and everything else.
I think it is one of the best.. and support was awesome when I had problems setting it up on my BB 7520

Yes, I have also heard a lot about IM+ on the forums as one of the good software.

TRD604: are you running VeriChat 2.35b or better. All Versions 2.x below 2.33b are limited time betas and have stopped functioning; you will need to upgrade to v2.35b or better.

If you are experiencing this problem with v2.35b, please write to us at [email address] and we will get to work to figure out why VeriChat is not connecting for you.

panam: VeriChat 2.x is a heavily upgraded version from 1.x. Improvements include:
- faster, more efficient in the UI
- single multiplexed connection to VeriChat servers (single socket)
- Premium features: IM Bots and Multiple profiles
- A large number of minor reliability fixes

v2.35b and v2.40b are bugfix releases.

Software's working better... but:

-Still having my accounts disconnect for no reason... even when in full GPRS range. Sometimes it's just AIM, sometimes just MSN, sometimes both...

-When someone IMs me while I'm on "away" status... the program takes me off "away" and makes me "available" again. This confuses my contacts.

-Bots still need some work. They don't keep score correctly, and randomly disonnect as well.

Hope they fix this stuff soon. I really love the interface, but don't wanna plunk down money if it's not working right.

I am having problems with my Verichat also I cannot get my verichat to log back in to any IM Client for some reason. I upgraded to 2.40b and it worked for like a week and today it will not logon.Have tried several times with no luck. I have removed battery like 7 times. Reinstalled the Verichat s/w . When it trys to login in I get the message force logout. And I donít force the logout. My license says it expires on Jun 15, 2005 but it is not suppose to expire until Jan 2 2006,and I have Reenterd the Key twice and get the same results..Any Suggestions ..Thanks

I agree with this. Running 2.40b. I think they were having problems last night (june 4), as I can connect today. That said, it does disconnect, even in GPRS. There should be a sound option for connect/disconnect so we can be notified when it happens. There are times it will just disconnect and sit there, and I will be offline for hours none the wiser. Perhaps a status icon on the main screen (top). Messages are also being dropped when this happens, as people tell me after the fact they've sent me something, which i didn't recieve nor did they get a response (it appears to them the message was successfully delivered. Emoticons in chat would be great.

Still, great program. Keep up the good work.

Update, I finally got my Verichar 2.40b working again. I went back an uninstalled it and downloaded it via the Blackberry Browser and it is working now. Also fyi I sent [email address] an email at around 11pm PST and when I checked my email this morning I had a response. Great support from those guys IMHO.

I had the trial version and also had problems getting disconnected, sometimes all services, sometimes just one, now I'm a bit hesitant to pay for the full version, maybe I'll try IM+
