Default BBToday and saving my preferences

Please Login to Remove!

I have a 7290 on Rogers. I installed BBToday, set up the APN and, since I do not have a BES server, need to disable MDS to make this work.

So, if I go in preferences and disable MDS, it works once when I get out of the preferences but, even though I am clicking save, it doesn't seem to save my prefs when I go back in there. Everytime I want to pull an update, I need to go back in and disable MDS.

Note that the same thing is happening with the time format or quotes, or weather, none of them will save my preferences.

Does anybody have an idea on what am I doing wrong?

Thanks in advance,

T.

I have a 7230 running OS4 on TMO and do not have those problems. I too do not use BES and I am able to save prefs including disable MDS. What version is it? Where did you download it? Was it installed OTA or thru desktop?

The version is 1.5. I downloaded it straight from SourceForge, I tried OTA and then wiped it out because of the same issue, then I reinstalled with AppLoader - no changes.

I am thinking about wiping out the whole BB and just reinstalling...

Forgot to mention in my last post that I am running OS4.
