Seriously? There is no simple text editor for the Blackberry? I have searched high and low and other than eOffice and a couple of utilities like QuickNote I can't find a simple text editor. I will probably end up getting eOffice so I can read docs that have been emailed to me, but it really is overkill for basic writing.
If I am stuck with Memopad, does anyone know what the max size for an individual note is?

I forget the size of the notes for memopad. If you're just reading documents, you can try MasterDoc from Dynoplex too. Documents-To-Go has the ever present "Coming Soon" on their web site for the Blackberry version.
Personally, I haven't found anything better than rexwireless ideaMatrix. You can seach here for comments. It is an excellent program but won't help you for reading or editing office documents. I think eoffice is pretty much it.

If you use empower instaspell, it works with ideaMatrix too.
