Default BBWeather/BBToday Error - net_rim_xml

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

I am using a Cingular 6280. I recently installed BBToday and it installed fine. However when I went to run the app I got the following error:

Error starting BBToday: Module 'net_rim_xml' not found.

So since I mostly wanted weather anyways I uninstalled that one and instead installed BBWeather. As the other it installed fine but when I went to run the app I got the following error:

Error starting BBWeather: Module 'net_rim_xml' not found.

Oh and I am running OS4.

I did a search here and a web search but could not find any information on how to get this module.

Thanks!!

Default Monochrome Devices?

Just thinking out loud here...

Perhaps this is because the 6280 is a monochrome device? Or perhaps it thinks I don't have enough RAM for this? I've noticed some software *thinks* my device is a 6230, since they both seem to use the same software from Cingular, and won't work because it thinks it only has 8mb of RAM instead of 16. For instance I am unable to view picture attachments since "image support is not installed" which RIM says is intentional on 8 Mb RAM devices, again mine is a 16 Mb.

Anyways, any help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

Frank
