Default Visual World Clock

Please Login to Remove!

I am trying to find an application like City Time on the Palm. It's a world clock with a geochron (shows night and day over a map of the Earth). Their Win Mobile version has lots of other features too, like currency conversion and metric conversions.

I'm also not trying to spend a fortune here (World Mate has one - but is $75 plus subscription).

Any one know of an app that does this? Any developers want to take it on? I emailed the City Time folks and they have no plans to make a BB version.

Carl.

You might have a peek at Pocket Day [Pro]. While it doesn't have a geo-thingie, it does have up to four world time displays, currency converter, in addition to core features of the application, such as summarizing all your calls, emails, sms, appointments and tasks on one screen.

I had one of those geo display things on my Nokia E62, Handy Clock I think it was, but I didn't use it much -- I just figured that 4 AM anywhere would be dark out. /grin

In a pinch there are two freebies - neither one is as polished and professional looking as WorldMate or CityTime, but if nothing else they'll give you the different times.

World Clock - A Free J2ME Mobile Phone Application

#!GlobalTime - world time on your phone

I use the World Clock version that rivviepop mentioned for over a year. Works great and best of all, free!

The cost of WorldMate includes the subscription. There's not a separate charge.

I didn't know this myself until I posted the above, but they've released a newer version -- I had (I think) 0.9.1, and now it's up to 0.9.57. I haven't upgraded yet to know what's up, and their webpage doesn't go into great detail about the versions.

Who knows.... but thought I'd pass on the 411.
