Default PocketDay Standby Screen

Please Login to Remove!

In the description for the current version of PD, the CrossRiverSystems site says that you are "Able to use PocketDay as your Standby screen". Can someone tell me how to do this?

Thanks.

When you hit K to lock your screen, a little padlock appears right next to the "PocketDay" at the top of your screen. Your screen is locked and Pocket Day is your standby screen. When you push K, you may have to hold it for a brief bit before it locks.

Enjoy.

Thanks. I can see how that works.

What I was looking for was a feature that used the PD screen as a standby screen. In other words, in Options>Screen/Keyboard, you can enable or disable the standby screen, and if enabled, set a number of minutes before the BB goes to the standby screen. If I enable it, the Nextel| screen appears after the Standby Timeout has been reached. Is there a way that the PD screen would appear at this point?

I don't think that it will work that way. You might want to go to A taste of PocketDay 2.0... and page down to the last page and ask your question there. The developer of PocketDay is very active there.

Acutally there is a way to make it work that way. In PocketDay go to Settings / Utilities. Set the Show PD after X minutes and after X minutes of inactivity, PD will be brought up.

from within PD, click wheel, select "Settings...", select "Utilities", see the item "Show PD after x Minutes" and enter a value

other useful things there, like enable backlight on alarm, etc
