Default Recent convert from Treo 650 with unmet needs!

I'm in the UK and, after 3 years of Palm Treo, have made the shift to Blackberry with an 8820 on Orange.

Time will bring familiarity of course but at this moment, I am desperately in need of better diary software which will allow me to place events in categories which can then be colour-coded for easy reference.

Also I mourn the loss of two exterior ballistics software applications (Pesja and Pocket Sharp Shooters Friend) both of which were Palm-available but I have not yet found them or replacements.

Any ideas please?

tikkathree,

Welcome. I am not sure if there are any "good" diary apps out there, but maybe you can look into these:

todoMatrix (by RexWireless) REXwireless: BlackBerry Software Applications
ideaMatrix (by RexWireless) REXwireless: BlackBerry Software Applications
NextAction! v2.0 (Falcon)
PDLists by Cross River System (PocketDay)

Handango Blackberry Site - has software for the blackberry
BlackBerry Software Store - powered by Handango

I am sure that if you give it some time, folks will chime in. Hope this helps in the meantime.
