Apparently it adds some native blackberry support. This could be huge.

Just do an OTA install, Dawg.

Hit your BlackBerry stock Browser, and go to http://mini.opera.com/beta

It will tell you that it cannot determine your phone, but just scroll down and download the High res version.

Should download and install just fine OTA.
I have 3.1 installed, and installed 4b2 fantastically.

I really wish they would add the ability to add text to fields directly on the web page without going to another screen. Otherwise, the app is fantastic.

Thumbs up iPhone users, watch out - 08-30-2007, 01:44 PM

Very, very slick. Plus with the secure connections support, I can access owana (Outlook on the Web) at my worksplace.

There's supposed to be a landscape mode option, but I can't find it.

Anyone see where this is?

To be safe, uninstall the original Beta 1 first before you install beta 2

Been using this for a moment now and love it. Love how it starts off in desktop view and you can then zoom in on specific portions of the page.....kind of "iphone-esque". Very slick interface.

use the number keys on your BB. 2, 4, 6, 8..up, left, right, down and fast!

I can't get the landscape feature to work as well.

Landscape is not supported yet for Blackberry or Palm devices, per the Mini-Opera beta forum. The phones they are supported on report great success though. Hopefully we will get it when it goes live!!!

Default Opera Mini 4.2 Beta Has Been Released - 08-30-2007, 04:29 PM

I just installed Opera Mini 4.2 Beta and this version is MUCH better for Curve owners than previous Beta versions. The features actually work in this version and page rendering is quicker, for whatever reason.

I highly recommend giving it a go.

You don't even get a Tzone's browser with the later software on the Curve?
