JC's tip of the day:

Login to BBF and click "Quick Links" at the top right of the forum. Then select "Today's Posts." (since I'm here every day, I don't need to see yesterdays)

or just click on "New Posts" at the top middle of the screen and that will give you most everything since the last time you visited.

There is a lot more goes on than just in the 8300 forum

You'll learn a lot! Also, check out the Off-Topic for good clean fun.

tried trouble shooting...and did a practice run. It seems that it won't total up and I get the error message when I had tried to search for a food, and when not found, created a new food from that pathway. When I hit total, I get the error. If I just select the suggested food from the list then the total shows. So it must be an inputting problem on my end.

I got that same error when I accidently inputted 21 (!) portions of a food entry rather than 2 portions. Apparently that overloaded the calorie counter. It's easy to input the wrong number of portions when putting in a new entry. The only way to find the error is to go to the "Edit/delete Daily Entry" screen and look carefully at all your food entries one by one. Correcting the entry solved the problem.

I purchased the Ascendo Fitness Program. It has some great features but unfotrunately it also has a number of unsolved bugs in the software. I am on my third trip to Ascendo attempting to resolve these issues. They are helpful. I also have used Total Fitness. It isn't as sophisticated but worked consistantly.

I also had the error exception you mentioned. Ascendo said it was due to a corrupt database.
