Default Opera Mini Beta 4 problems - 09-03-2007, 07:34 PM

Every version of Opera has stopped working on my 8300! I had version 3.1 and beta 1 and beta 2 of version 4 working just fine a few days ago, and now nothing works. I've uninstalled, rebooted, changed my APN settings, cleared log files, and everything else, and I keep getting a "Failed to connect to the Internet" error. Happens in every version of Opera. Does anyone else have similar issues?

I'm using an unlocked 8300 on T-Mobile if that helps.

Thanks for any help!

Yes, I have had that problem. Like the previous post said, first check your TCP settings. They should be set to wap.voicestream.com with the user id and password blank. My problem was worse than that. I was using a third party application called SIMULSAYS (visual voicemail on the Pearl). It interfered with both Opera and another package I was running called NAV4ALL. Have you upgraded your OS or installed any new software recently?

Default Same problem - 09-04-2007, 09:53 AM

I have the same problem, i think; my OM was working fine, and then one day it just stopped. It allows me to get to the home page, where you can use yahoo or whatever else, but once i try to go anywhere from there, it gives me a connection error and says something about DNS...

Hey, were you ever able to get both Simulsays and Opera working simultaneously?
