Default Can't get Beyond411 to work - 09-05-2007, 10:02 AM

I've downloaded the latest version and can't get it to work. I've entered my addresses and have tried all the connection types. Whatever I search for, I get the same message: no results found near my address. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.0) BlackBerry8300/4.2.2 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/102)

When you go to setup are you going to the bottom of the page to save or are you just saving it as I had that problem once I saved it on the bottom of the set up page I was all set. Good luck

Yes, I have been careful to do that... no luck.

Have also tried "Toronto ON" which also gets me nothing, and "Toronto" which gets me US addresses.

I did try 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue Washington DC which did work, so maybe it doesn't work for Canada, although I read that it is meant to.

Ya, Kevinvale - same thing for me in Ottawa, Canada.

Can't get Beyond411 to recognize my Canadian address for the life of me. Tried every permutation of address and the ones that worked gave me somewhere in California as nearby. No help support on it on the website. Gave up - maybe the author will straighten this out. Website does say works for US and Canada.

Funny - because I remember it working for me a couple of years ago when it was Berry411.

Just like Infospace Findit - doesn't work for Canadian locations and not a mention of it on their website.

Let me know if you find a solution - it's still on the BB but not using it.

Peter - one of the poor little maligned and insignificant Canadians

try "Toronto, ON"

I'm in Calgary and have completely given up on it for white pages results - it simply does not work at all. Even for yellow pages, it isn't usually exact, and I find it giving results for similar but not what I want.

I still use it for the plugins but have resorted to using Telus' wap page for lookups, or Google Maps.
